INCIDENT 242150a

From BagelNet

On February 4th 2142, a person infiltrated the data center in the BagelNet Foundation's headquarters with the intent of spreading malicious software. In 4 minutes and 50 seconds, he was able to connect an unauthorized bagel node to The Bagel Network (version 2.3). The security camera footage we gathered shows that he had no trouble using the retina scan. The foreign bagel contained a virus unlike anything our cyber security team had ever seen before. It tunneled through our firewall in seconds and began to replicate itself relentlessly on one node at a time. After 10 minutes, the Chaos Beacon had been erected on Bagel Node #42 and siphoned energy from the entire network into an unknown process named "agentofchaos_69.exe". Before it took our video feeds offline, we watched the Quantum Bagel Matrix fall apart over the course of 20 minutes. The entire system had been compromised, and the virus was began to shut down bagel nodes that were ruled "expired" by the fascist Council of Chaos. The Anti-Cube Alliance mobilized a group of kamikaze pigeons to bomb the Chaos Beacon, but the explosions resulted an immense amount of damage and the simulation crumbled under the weight of the explosions.
